East One Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver

It is the combination of good food and low prices that make this restaurant a favourite among the locals. Saturated in a asian centric mall in north east Vancouver you will find a lot of choices on their menu and the restaurant is mostly full on lunch and dinner time.

Great bowl of congee and pretty decent at everything else too. Good portions, good prices, nicer servers (when not too busy). I would order the congee, the rice wraps or the Chinese donuts here. It's also good for late night food after 9pm. Highly recommended!

East One under the same ownership as Congee Noodle House and Congee Noodle King. Of the three, Congee Noodle House on Broadway is still the best, both in price and taste. However, went to East One last night and found the soup served with the dinner sets (和菜) has improved greatly. The two dishes we ordered are just meh.

Food is good there and busy at times. Found out it's the same owners of Congee Noodle House and Congee Noodle King.

Delicious Cantonese food. Great for big groups and small groups. Respectful servers and fast service. However, they really need to do something about the washroom. The floor is very slippery. Sooner or later they will be sued.

For what they offer, it's simple and the pricing is fair. I don't find the food extra tasty in anyway, but for where it is located, its not bad. The staff are overall okay. They seemed busy, and it was hard at times to wave them down for the bill. My only comment, when you are going to the washroom, be very careful. It can be pretty slippery, and I mean slippery. So beware.

Good portion sizes and quick service. Dishes were pretty average in quality and prices were fair. I came late at night with my family. But the staff were still able to seat us during the busy late dinner service time. I would definitely come again if I needed a quick bite and was in the area.
